WCP will focus future investments
in the security, intelligence, aerospace and defense markets.
We chose these four markets based on the following macro themes:
1) there exists a long-term demand for new technology and
service solutions in these markets; 2) there exists significant
and sustainable government funding to drive technology development
and the procurement of systems which will, in turn, drive
acquisitions; and 3) these markets are synergistically inter-related.
Currently, WCP will not look to deploy
capital in anti-bioterrorism technologies. We believe prudent
investing in biotechnology requires specific, in-depth experience
and education (M.D. or Ph.D) which our investment team does
not, as of yet, possess. We do recognize the critical nature
of this area and will selectively look to add the proper personnel
to explore investments in biotechnology (bioterrorism) in
the near future.
